Friday Update – 18 September 2009

the week that was:
– can’t recall a lot of the details as it’s been a crazy week. mum and dad have been away in portugal with some friends. i’ve had some early mornings, serviced 2 computers, re-discovered mario kart on the wii, drunk a lot of fair trade coffee (i can recommend sainsbury’s breakfast), and cooked some particularly good food – i feel our yellow curry was probably the best though i may have scared rosie with our range cooker.

the weekend to be:
– saturday will be the last full day to see rosie, it’s also the day my parents return from portugal. i’m going to have some tidying to do. i should probably also book my hotel and hire car for florida, may also try and pick up a lonely planet guide.

– sunday will be the first day without rosie since she went to hong kong/thailand last year, luckily she’ll only be a few (hundred) miles down the road. i’m duty manager at acc and i also think i’ll be on av and recording the podcast.

any planned trips: none next week, unless you consider a visit to the barbers to get a trim a “trip”

single/album/artist of the week: paramore – the final riot! in anticipation of there new album, and also because rosie and i have bought tickets to see them in brighton paramore are up there. it’s not available on the uk iTunes store, but if you’re in the uk you can purchase it on amazon.

iPhone app of the week: it’s a simple one for me this week; it’s an o2 app for o2 customers who have an iPhone, it’s called “my o2” and it’s incredibly simple. you log in with your o2 username and password and it tells you how many sms and minutes you’ve used.

blog post of the week: i’ve struggled for a single post this week. tech blogger terry white has been running a series on travel tips for techies so, parts 1 and 3 are my post(s) of the week.
